Fort Lauderdale Airport Reopens After Bomb Threat Evacuation
Authorities gave the all-clear Saturday afternoon after the threat spurred a precautionary evacuation of Terminals 2 and 3.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Two terminals at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport have reopened after a bomb threat prompted authorities to issue precautionary evacuations and close roadways leading to the terminals.
Just after 9:30 a.m., airport staff tweeted that parts of terminals 2 and 3 had been evacuated for a "security investigation," which also prompted closures of roadways leading to the terminals.
Authorities issued the all-clear shortly after 12:30 p.m.

Travelers on incoming flights and near the evacuated areas had reported flight delays and a heavy police presence at the airport.
Operations are slowly returning to normal, airport staff tweeted.
