Guy Harvey Foundation’s 18th Annual ‘Love the Blue’ Gala to Raise Funds for Ocean Conservation and Education
Leaders in marine science education and environmental stewardship will be honored during elegant evening of dining and connection.

The Guy Harvey Foundation (GHF), a not-for-profit entity dedicated to protecting marine life and introducing the next generation to the ocean through education and scientific research, will host its 18th annual “Love the Blue” Gala, themed Panama Paradise, on Wednesday, October 28 at the Lauderdale Yacht Club, 1725 SE 12th Street in Fort Lauderdale. All proceeds from the event will benefit the GHF’s ocean research and education initiatives.
The celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, the awards presentation, and a live auction. Both silent and live auctions will feature original Guy Harvey artwork, exclusive trips and unique gift items.
Foundation CEO Jessica Harvey and world-renowned artist, scientist, conservationist and GHF Founder/Chair Emeritus, Dr. Guy Harvey, will once again co-host and share highlights of achievements and progress in research and education during the past year as well as captivating stories of their recent ocean expeditions.

“We are excited to share our ongoing research, upcoming expeditions and incredible success of our educational initiatives,” said Jessica Harvey. “Our guests will join us in celebrating the stunning waters and rich marine life of one of the ocean’s most remarkable regions and enjoy an elegant evening of dining, connection and conservation in support of protecting our seas for generations to come.”
During Love the Blue, the GHF also recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to advance marine science education and ocean conservation. The 2026 Guy Harvey Educator of the Year Award will be presented to Kateryna Alemany, a math and science teacher at Somerset Academy Elementary School in Pembroke Pines, and the Guy Harvey Conservation Award will be presented to Tropic Star Lodge, an iconic five-star fishing resort in Panama and long-time conservation partner of the GHF.

“We continue to create a brighter future for our oceans, our communities and the next generation of ocean stewards,” said Dr. Guy Harvey. “Together with our partners we conduct research all over the world to better understand and protect marine life. We also continue to grow education programs, creating more ways for students and educators to engage with science, explore the oceans and act as informed ocean ambassadors.
