Hurricane Irma: Miami Dolphins Stadium To Get Inspected
BREAKING: Marlins Park will also reportedly be evaluated.
MIAMI, FL — A possible tornado was reported near the Hard Rock Stadium, home to the Miami Dolphins football team, and now structural engineers plan to inspect the building, a person familiar with the situation said.
The person confirmed the planned inspection on condition of anonymity Monday because the Dolphins have not commented on the condition of the stadium. The complex seems to be OK, the person said.
A second person said Marlins Park was also being evaluated. Photos posted on social meeting showed possible storm damage to the outer facade of the retractable roof.
