Hurricane Irma: Where To Find A Shelter With Space
Patch brings you the complete list of shelters around the Miami area that still have space.

MIAMI, FL — As Hurricane Irma lashes out on the Miami area, many people will undoubtedly be forced to seek out a shelter of last resort on Sunday or Monday. Miami-Dade County had opened 44 emergency shelters as of Sunday morning but 16 were already full. Patch breaks down the list by which shelters still have room and those that don't.

There was only one pet-friendly shelter that still had availability as of Friday. The listing is in bold.
If you go to a shelter, make sure you bring you own sleeping bag or air mattress. toiletries, prescriptions, extra clothing, flashlight, personal items, and enough food and water for your family to remain at the shelter for an extended period. Don't forget pet food and related medications as well as diapers if needed.
