Miami-Dade Police Seek Suspect In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
Police are looking for the driver of a newer-model Mercedes, which struck and killed a 34-year-old man after 1:30 a.m. May 14 on SW 109 Ave.
MIAMI, FLA. — Miami-Dade Police are searching for the driver of a Mercedes-Benz that police said was involved in a fatal hit and run accident last week that killed a bicyclist in an early-morning crash.
Jose Piedra Perez, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at SW 109 Avenue at 1:41 a.m. on Friday, police said Tuesday. Police said that the newer model Mercedes was traveling west on SW 72 Street when it struck Perez and then kept going an unknown direction, police said.
