ORLANDO, FL — While there's no shortage of beautiful, talented women in the Miami area, the Dolphins for the first time took their cheerleading tryouts on the road. The team selected 11 finalists in Orlando to compete for a spot on the squad ahead of the 2017 season. They move on to the final audition phase in Miami on June 11.
“We’re extremely excited to tap into the tremendous depth of talent in this area,” said Miami Dolphins Senior Director of Brand Impact and Entertainment Dorie Grogan. “We hope that among today’s finalists we will add women to this year’s squad who continue to embody the diverse look and feel of the Dolphins Cheerleaders.” (Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Miami Patch.)
