Miami Mayor Francis Suarez Teases 2024 White House Bid: Report
Francis Suarez, Miami's Republican mayor, has teased that he's mulling a 2024 presidential run, reports said.

MIAMI, FL — While touting Miami’s economic success during an interview with Fox Business, the city’s mayor, Francis Suarez, teased a potential 2024 presidential run.
"Look, it's a long way aways," the Republican mayor said. "Right now, I'm excited to preside over the presidency of the U.S. Conference of Mayors and try to convince other mayors across America that the Miami model works, that they need to adopt it so that they can create prosperity in their cities."
Suarez added, “If that continues to work, and if Miami continues to be successful, then I think there's going to be tremendous amount of options available for me politically if I decide that I want to continue to serve."

He also noted that Miami “should be a model for the rest of the country.”
Earlier this month, Agenda for America, a political group tied to the mayor, bought social media ads targeting key primary states, including Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire, according to the Miami Herald.

Most ads attacked President Joe Biden and only one of them nodded to Suarez, linking back to a Washington Post opinion column about him.
Suarez, an attorney and son of a former mayor, Xavier Suarez, was reelected to his second term as Miami mayor in November.
