Here are the top five stories today in Miami:
1. Miami restaurants were at the center of the Michelin guide awards, winning 11 out of 15 stars in the state. The Miami outpost of L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon is the only restaurant in Florida to receive two stars. 10 Miami restaurants received one star including Ariete, Cote, Stubborn Seed, Hiden and more. 2. One person is dead and another was hospitalized after a car struck a pole in Miami's Little River neighborhood overnight Friday, bursting into flames. Miami police said they responded to the area of 151 NE 82nd St. at around 1:15 a.m. to investigate a crash. (WPLG Local 10)
3. Some residents at South Florida apartment complex Axis at One Pine are awestruck that their management company is planning to charge guests for parking despite ample parking. It is yet another fee as rent rises as well. The apartment complex refused to comment on the parking charges. (WPLG Local 10)
4. On Friday afternoon, the Broward Education Foundation along with others surprised some high school seniors and struggling families with free dorm essentials and even a full-ride scholarship for a select few. Students were provided with items such as laptops, comforters, pillows, bed sheets and towels. (CBS Miami)
5. Buyers at YotelPad Miami, who were promised the ability to rent their units out without restrictions, are now finding out they are unable to do so due to a change in the city's code. Many of the buyers are foreign investors and a number of them purchased multiple units, according to records. (The Real Deal)

- The developers of the twin-tower St. Regis Residences project in Brickell have released new renderings. The St. Regis Residences will feature two towers, rising 48 and 47 stories, designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. (The Next Miami)
- During the 2022 Florida Legislative Session, the Legislature approved a $112.1 billion budget including nearly $2.5 million dollars for the City of Coral Gables. Approved projects include the Coral Gables Restoration of Historic Gondola Building and Coral Gables Stormwater Master Plan. (Miami's Community News)
- Brand Atlantic Real Estate Partners and Wheelock Street Capital have broken ground on the 300 Banyan office building in downtown West Palm Beach as developers aim to capture the new companies entering South Florida. (Subscription: South Florida Business Journal)
- A South Florida woman has been arrested after police said she ran an illegal post-surgery recovery center out of a Miami hotel. Jocelyn Ramos-Rivera is accused of running the operation out of the Extended Stay America at 8655 Northwest 21st Terrace in Doral. (NBC Miami)
