Paddleboarding Victim Found At Hobie Beach
The body of a man was found near Hobie Beach on Sunday night. He is believed to have been the victim of a paddleboarding accident.

KEY BISCAYNE, FL — The body of a man was found near Hobie Beach on Sunday night. A witness told police that the victim fell off his paddleboard around 6:40 p.m. The victim's name had not been released as of Monday morning.
"According to investigators, a 9-1-1 call was received shortly after 6:40 p.m., advising that a male appeared to have fallen off a paddleboard and was in distress," according to Detective Argemis Colome of the Miami-Dade Police Department. Colome said that multiple agencies participated in a search of the area and the victim was located late on Sunday night.

"Several hours into the search the victim was found in the water by Miami-Dade Police Department divers," Colome said. "The victim was determined deceased on scene."
