Patrick Dwyer, and his group, Dwyer & Associates, have been nationally ranked on three top advisor lists in 2018.

Patrick Dwyer, Managing Director and International Private Wealth Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, and his group, Dwyer & Associates, have been nationally ranked on three top advisor lists in 2018. Forbes ranked Dwyer #1 in South Florida on its recent “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” list, while Barron’s nearly simultaneously awarded Dwyer with the #2 spot in Florida on its “Top 1,200 Financial Advisors” list. Most recently, Dwyer was added to the Financial Times “400 Top Financial Advisers” list. Dwyer & Associates is part of Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group and is one of the four largest advisory teams at Merrill Lynch worldwide

Dwyer specializes in addressing the fluid needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Last year, Dwyer was named on Barron's Top 1,200 Financial Advisors list and was ranked #5 on the Forbes "America’s Top 250 Wealth Advisors" list for the second consecutive year.

Dwyer joined Merrill Lynch in 1993 after receiving his MBA from the University of Miami. His first year at the firm was spent in the Merrill Lynch MBA Analyst Program at company headquarters. After his training was complete, Dwyer moved back to Miami to begin his career as a financial advisor. In 1999, he became one of the first advisors to join a new division established to serve the needs of ultra-high-net-worth families, the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch.

The Financial Times “Top 400 Financial Advisers” (FT 400) is an independent listing produced by the Financial Times (March, 2018). The FT 400 is based on data gathered from firms and verified by broker-dealer home offices, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflects each advisor’s performance in six primary areas, including assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, experience, credentials and accessibility as identified by the FT.
