Rapper 50 Cent Sues FL Plastic Surgeon Over Penis Enhancement Promo
A federal judge refused to dismiss rapper 50 Cent's lawsuit against a Miami plastic surgeon insinuated he had penis enhancement surgery.

MIAMI, FL — A federal judge refused to dismiss rapper 50 Cent’s lawsuit against a Miami plastic surgeon over a photo insinuating he had penile enhancement surgery, Billboard reported.
In his lawsuit, the rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, accuses Angela Kogan and her Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa of using a picture he took with her to imply he was her client and had penile enhancement surgery.
He took the picture with her thinking she was a fan and didn’t know it would be used to promote her services, according to the Miami Herald.

“Kogan’s actions have exposed Jackson to ridicule, caused substantial damage to his professional and personal reputation, and violated his right to control his name and image (which has significant economic value),” the lawsuit said.
Kogan called for the case to be dismissed, claiming that 50 Cent was actually a client and gave her permission to use his image, reports said.

“As the proverbial saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. This one in particular depicts a worldwide celebrity next to Kogan with MedSpa’s name repeated all throughout the background. The promotional value is evident,” Judge Robert N. Scola, Jr. wrote in his decision to allow the case to move forward.
In addition to being shared on social media, the image was published in The Shade Room in August with an article titled “Penis Enhancements Are More Popular Than Ever & BBL’s Are Dying Out: Cosmetic Surgery CEO Angela Kogan Speaks On it (Exclusive.)” The article, which has since been deleted, also named 50 Cent as a client, The Fader reported.
The lawsuit now moves into the discovery phase before heading to trial.
