FL Man Spat On Disney Worker, Refused To Wear Face Mask: Police
Kelly McKin, 51, faces a felony charge of battery after spitting on a Disney security officer who asked him to wear a mask, authorities say.

ORLANDO, FL — A North Palm Beach man faces felony charges after spitting on a Disney World security guard who asked him to wear a face mask in compliance with the Orlando theme park’s policy, authorities said.
Kelly McKin, 51, has been charged with battery on a security officer following an early February visit to the park.
When a female security guard saw McKin approaching the convention center area of Disney’s Contemporary Resort on Feb. 5, she told him that the area was closed, according to the arrest affidavit from Orange County.

She then asked if he had a face mask and told him to put it on. He said that he would wear it when he entered a building, according to the affidavit.
She informed him that Disney’s policy is that guests must wear face masks at all times. McKin told her to leave him alone and spat on her, the affidavit said.

The security guard was coming back from her lunch break at the time and didn’t have a radio on her, so she had to leave the area to find backup. During that time, McKin also left the area, entering the Contemporary Resort and getting on the elevator, the affidavit said.
He was seen on the property again the next day, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was called to the theme park. McKin was arrested on a charge of battery on a security guard and was issued a trespass warning.
