These 20 FL Hotels Set Standards Of Excellence Among Travelers: US News
More than 2,500 hotels in Florida are recognized for their excellence in hospitality, including 20 that offer luxurious amenities.
More than 2,500 hotels in Florida were singled out for excellence in a new ranking from U.S. News that helps travelers find a hotel that best suits their needs.
The 2026 Best Hotels ranking includes the following in Florida:
- Four Seasons Hotel at the Surf Club, 9011 Collins Ave., Surfside
Finding a home on nine beach acres, Four Seasons offers 77 guest rooms and wraparound balconies. Anyone on a fitness journey can make use of the hotel's cardio and weight-training equipment. Babysitting services are offered to families, and Winston's on the Beach and The Surf Club Restaurant provide dining options.

- The Setai, 2001 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
US News warned there are no kid-friendly amenities at The Setai, other than a family pool and beach access. Pets are allowed, and three infinity pools and free wi-fi are available. On-site restaurants serve Mediterranean, American and Asian cuisine.
- Four Seasons Resort, 2800 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach
Sitting 8 miles southeast of West Palm Beach, Four Seasons offers a freshwater pool, a business center and a spa. Its suites feature contemporary furnishings, down bedding and plasma TVs. Children younger than age 5 may dine for free, and teenagers can play pool.

- Faena, 3201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Staying at Faena can be costly, but entertainment includes cabaret shows and live DJs at bars and lounges. When guests are hungry, they can partake in seafood, South American grilling or Mexican dishes. Rooms feature walk-in showers, flat-screen TVs, South American decor and free wi-fi.
- Acqualina Resort and Residences, 17875 Collins Ave., Sunny Isles Beach
With 98 rooms and suites, Acqualina is known for its exclusivity. Its visitors may enjoy a meal at a Japanese fusion restaurant, a grab-and-go market, four pools, a spa and beach amenities. There is also a business center and free wi-fi at Acqualina, where Leaders Club members get perks.

The 2026 ranking, the 16th annual from U.S. News, highlights more than 31,000 hotels across more than 400 destinations. For the second year in a row, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on Hawaii’s Big Island takes the No. 1 spot in the Best Hotels in the USA ranking.
The Four Seasons brand extends its dominance with Four Seasons Resort Lanai claiming the No. 2 spot. The Langham Chicago came in at No. 3, and the Mandarin Oriental claimed the No. 4 and No. 5 spots with properties in New York City and Boston.
U.S. News also ranked hotels in Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda.
“The hotels highlighted in U.S. News’ 2026 Best Hotels rankings set the standard for top-tier customer service, stellar amenities and truly memorable guest experiences,” Zach Watson, senior data editor, travel at U.S. News, said in a news release. “Recognition in this year’s rankings sets hotels and resorts apart as the industry’s best, and each list provides a central starting point for travelers seeking the best options for them.”
