PALM BEACH, FL — President Donald Trump will arrive in Palm Beach on Wednesday morning, an hour before President-Elect Joe Biden’s inauguration at noon, CBS Miami reported. He’s set to arrive with one hour remaining in his term as president.

Trump will permanently move to his private club, Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach when he’s out of office. Two moving trucks were seen at the club Monday, WPTV reported.

Palm Beach Town Manager Kirk Blouin and Police Chief Nicholas Caristo sent a letter to town residents Friday warning that roads will be closed around Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday.

“The road closure will last several days for safety and security reasons. Beyond this, we do not foresee any future road closures related to the presence of a former President,” according to their letter.

Some of Trump’s neighbors aren’t thrilled that he’ll be living at the club full time after he leaves the White House. The neighboring DeMoss family sent a letter to the town of Palm Beach and the U.S. Secret Service in December demanding they prevent Trump from living at Mar-a-Lago.

In their letter, they reminded the town and the Secret Service that Trump lost his legal right to live at Mar-a-Lago in the early 1990s after converting the estate from a private residence to a private club, reports said. When it became a club in 1993, Trump agreed that its members would spend less than 21 days there each year and promised the town council at a public meeting that he wouldn't live there.

The club also received a warning letter from the town for hosting a maskless New Year’s Eve party. The letter addresses “a breakdown in enforcement of the mask orders that led to almost the entire room of guests being without masks during the later evening activities,” reports said. A code violation notice was also sent with the letter, though the resort doesn’t currently face any fines.

As Trump settles into his new life at his South Florida resort, several of his current White House aides, as well as his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, will continue working for him, Bloomberg reported. The aides possibly joining him include Nick Luna, his director of Oval Office Operations; Molly Michael, a deputy assistant to Trump; and Cassidy Luna, Nick’s wife and deputy assistant to the president.

Trump will be joined by family in South Florida as well. Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, purchased a $30 million waterfront lot on the exclusive Indian Creek Island, dubbed the “Billionaire’s Bunker.”

His son, Donald Trump Jr., and girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, are also moving to Florida, Florida Politics reported. They’re reportedly considering relocating to Jupiter. And the president’s other daughter, Tiffany Trump, who has been spending time in Miami with her boyfriend, Nigerian businessman Michael Boulos, is reportedly looking for a home in Miami Beach.
