Rick Smith Golf Academy Opening At Trump National

The Rick Smith Golf Academy is coming to the Trump National Miami in Doral. Recognized as one of the top golf schools in the United States, Smith’s elite team will bring world-class instruction to one of South Florida’s most impressive golf destinations. The academy will serve resort guests, club members and anyone who hopes to get good enough to one day conduct business outside of the office.

Serving golfers of all abilities, the academy will provide private lessons, multi-day golf schools, small group clinics, on-course playing lessons, video analysis and juniors programming. The Rick Smith Golf Academy will take up residence in the former site of the Jim McLean Golf School starting this fall.

Rick Smith has achieved success as a teacher, designer and communicator. Smith has coached some of the most accomplished golfers in the world, world-class athletes who have collectively won eight major golf championships. He has coached Phil Mickelson, Lee Janzen, Rocco Mediate and Jack Nicklaus. He has also hosted his own golf TV show and done color commentary for network broadcasts on the Golf Channel, ESPN, TSN and FOX Sports.
