Ultra Music Festival 2018 Lineup Released

Miami's Ultra Music Festival is billed as the world's largest, independent electronic music event.

MIAMI, FL — Armin van Buuren, Axwell, Ingrosso, David Guetta, Eric Prydz, Hardwell, DJ Snake, Tiësto, The Chainsmokers and Kaskade are among the acts set to perform at the upcoming 20th anniversary of the colorful Ultra Music Festival. The bass-thumping event attracts large crowds to downtown Miami each year and is billed as the world's largest, independent electronic music festival. The 2018 featival returns to Bayfront Park on March 23, 24 and 25.

"Having welcomed over one million fans to 45 events internationally in 2017, the world’s largest, most international and most successful remaining independent electronic music festival brand is just three months away from its biggest show ever," organizers said in announcing the phase one lineup on Tuesday. "Incredibly, Ultra Music Festival 2018 will see the Miami event alone exceed two million attendees spanning over 20 consecutive years since its inception in 1999."

Ultra Music Festival began as a 10,000-person beach party in 1999 and has since grown to a 165,000-person, mega festival in the heart of downtown Miami. The legendary Josh Wink and Rabbit In The Moon were both part of the very first Ultra Music Festival at Collins Park, Miami Beach in 1999 and will return in March 2018 to celebrate the anniversary.

The event will feature 30 headliners and more than 40 additional support acts in what organizers said is "shaping up to be a truly historic event."
