"Vote Miami" Candidate Forums Bring Miami-Dade Commission Candidates Together
Ahead of the August primary nonpartisan elections,virtual forums give voters the opportunity to hear directly from candidates on the issues
With the August 18 Primary Election approaching, Vote Miami will host a three-night series of nonpartisan virtual candidate forums featuring candidates running for the Miami-Dade County Commission in Districts 2, 5 and 8.
Moderated by local journalists, each forum will center on questions submitted by residents and community stakeholders, giving candidates the opportunity to address the issues voters say matter most from housing affordability and transportation to neighborhood investment, public safety, infrastructure, economic opportunity and quality of life.
The forums will include live translations in Spanish, Haitian Creole and American Sign Language. Media are invited to attend these virtual forums to hear candidates outline their priorities, respond to constituent concerns, and discuss their vision for the future of Miami-Dade County.
