• David Telci Convicted - Battery On Prisoner (blogspot.com) — A Moore Haven resident has been sentenced to a mandatory 15 years in prison after a jury convicted him of aggravated battery for attacking another inmate at Moore Haven Correctional Facility. Prosecutors say he used a homemade weapon to repeatedly cut the victim during a dispute over commissary items, leading to emergency medical treatment and a Prison Releasee Reoffender designation under Florida law.
