BMW driver accused of going 110 mph in a 45 mph zone in East Naples (gulfcoastnewsnow.com) — A driver was arrested in East Naples after deputies clocked his BMW at up to 110 mph in a 45-mph zone along US-41, Airport-Pulling Road, and Davis Boulevard. Local residents from Naples voiced worries about speeding, especially with school back in session, and the man was booked into Naples Jail before being released on bond.
4. Amber Cowan's Whimsical Glass Cloches Hide Tiny Fairytale Worlds (designswan.com) — Naples art lovers can currently see Amber Cowan’s fantastical glass sculptures in The Passion of Collecting exhibition at The Baker Museum. The Philadelphia artist builds whimsical, fairytale-like worlds under glass cloches using discarded and vintage glass, turning industrial scraps into intricate, storybook scenes that reward close viewing.
