Ocean Prime will welcome internationally acclaimed winemaker Dave Phinney for an exclusive happy hour tasting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Ocean Prime, 699 Fifth Ave. S. in Naples.
Phinney, founder of Orin Swift Cellars and creator of The Prisoner, will guide guests through three of his distinctive wines paired with chef-crafted small bites. Pairings include Our Lady of Guadalupe pinot noir with goat cheese ravioli, Guero red blend with short rib sliders and Acolytes Chardonnay with baked scallops. Guests will also hear firsthand about the inspiration and craftsmanship behind Phinney's approach to winemaking.
