13-Year-Old Severely Burned In Chemical Fire In Hudson

Pasco County Fire Rescue said a 13-year-old received severe burns over most of his body Thursday following a chemical fire in a home.

HUDSON, FL — Pasco County Fire Rescue said a 13-year-old received severe burns over most of his body Thursday following a chemical fire in a home in the 12000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive.

The teen was playing with an unidentified chemical when it caught fire. The child was rushed to the burn unit of Tampa General Hospital.

Pasco County Fire Rescue has not released the name or sex of the child.
