Palm Harbor Woman Killed In Crash In Pasco County

TRINITY, FL — A Palm Harbor woman died Friday when she was hit by a car in Pasco County, according to police.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash involved a Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 45-year-old New Port Richey woman, traveling northbound on Epiphany Way.

Near the intersection of Tryfon Boulevard, the vehicle collided with a pedestrian walking westbound across the road.

The pedestrian, a 68-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the crash happened around 2 p.m.
