Father Tries To Save Child Who Ran Into Traffic On Moog Road
A crash involving a father and child has shut down part of Moog Road in Holiday.
HOLIDAY, FL -- A 1 1/2-year-old child has died after running into Moog Road near Morley Drive and being hit by a Pasco County service truck.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Jayden Joseph ran into the road just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10. Jayden's father tried to save the toddler and both were struck by the county pickup truck. They were taken to the hospital where the child died. The father is listed in stable condition.
The FHP has blocked off Moog Road at Grand Boulevard while troopers, the Pasco Sheriff's Office and Pasco County Fire Rescue investigate the accident.
