DADE CITY, FL — Pasco County authorities are searching for two people in connection with a shooting at Dade City nightclub.

The incident happened around 2:40 a.m. on Aug. 20 in the parking lot of the La Onda Night Club, located at 37518 Lock St. According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, the first suspect fired a gun once in the parking lot, striking the victim's car.

The first suspect then got into the passenger seat of a late-2000s Chevy Silverado truck with a toolbox built into the bed, police said. The truck was driven by a second male suspect, police said.

According to authorities, the first man is approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored shirt. Authorities did not provide a description of the second suspect.
