2-Year-Old Struck By Hit-And-Run Motorcyclist, Operator Arrested
A 2-year-old child has been flown to the hospital by medical helicopter after being struck by a motorcyclist.

PORT RICHEY, FL -- The Florida Highway Patrol has charged a 63-year-old Port Richey man with drunk driving, leaving the scene of a crash and failure to use due care after he was accused of hitting a 2-year-old child with a motorcycle on Sunday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a group of children were playing basketball in the road at 7316 Oak Crest Drive in Port Richey at 7:51 p.m. on Feb. 17.
Buddy Jay Kline of Oak Crest Drive and his passenger, Stacy F. Wegener, 58, of Port Richey were riding a motorcycle east on Oak Crest Drive when the motorcycle struck 2-year-old Izzabella Brinson.

Troopers say Kline stopped his motorcycle, dismounted and got into an argument with the parents of the toddler. Troopers say he then fled the scene. has been flown to the hospital by medical helicopter after being struck by a motorcyclist who fled the scene.
A Pasco Sheriff's deputy located the motorcycle at Kline's residence where he was arrested.

The 2-year-old was airlifted to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
