23-Year-Old New Port Richey Woman Killed In Crash On U.S. 19

A 23-year-old New Port Richey woman was killed and three other people are in serious condition following a crash Friday on U.S. 19.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 23-year-old New Port Richey woman was killed and three other people are in serious condition following a crash Friday on U.S. 19.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 10:57 p.m., a 27-year-old Hudson woman was driving south on U.S. 19, north of Eden Avenue, when she lost control of the car, crossed the median and entered the path of a car driven by a 36-year-old woman from Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

The passenger in the Hudson woman's car died at the scene. The Nazareth resident and her two passengers, a 63-year-old woman from East Elmhurst, New York, and a 38-year-old man from Nazareth, were taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to the highway patrol.
