25-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot In Woods Off SR 52 In Bayonet Point

BAYONET POINT, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate a fatal shooting that took place Sunday near the intersection of State Road 52 just east of Colony Road in Bayonet Point.

According to the sheriff's office, Marcus Marquis, 25, was walking along the road around 5 a.m. when he entered the woods and was shot.

The sheriff's office is seeking anyone who may have seen Marquis prior to the shooting or has any information.
