25th Jubilee Celebration Ordination of Fr. Jude Vera

Fr. Jude Vera, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tampa,
will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of his Ordination to the
Priesthood on March 9, 2014.  The Jubilee
Celebration will begin with the celebration of the Mass at noon followed by a
reception in the parish center.

Fr. Jude was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Legazpi,
Philippines on March 11, 1989.  He served
for seven years as a priest in Canada before coming to the Diocese of St.
Petersburg in 2002.  He served as Parochial
Vicar for Incarnation Catholic Parish in Tampa (2002-2005) and St. James the
Apostle Parish in Port Richey (2005-2008). Fr. Jude is currently Pastor of St.
Mary Catholic Church, Tampa.

Fr. Jude was born in Tiwi, Albay,Philippine.   He comes from a family of priests, having
two of his eight brothers and sisters and an uncle ordained to the priesthood.
