The Healthy Start Coalition of Pasco, Inc. is hosting it's 2nd Annual 5K Run and FREE 1 Mile Family Walk/Run on September 14, 2013 at Waterfront Park. This event will promote the National Infant Mortality Prevention and Awareness. Many area professionals will be participating at the race and 1 mile walk to promote their business and support the cause.
The proceeds from sponsors will allow the Coalition to provide the resources that support moms and babies with important health and safety needs such as, cribs for the prevention of SIDS and roll over deaths, diapers, items to support moms who choose to breastfeed, smoking and substance abuse prevention among other important health services.
