4 Injured When Truck Loses Control On I-75: FL Highway Patrol

Four Miami men were injured when their truck towing a trailer lost control on I-75 in Pasco County, FL Highway Patrol said.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Four men were injured when the driver lost control of their truck, which was towing a trailer, Monday afternoon on Interstate 75 in Pasco County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. near milepost 284, not far from State Road 52.

The truck, a Dodge Ram 3500, was towing “an improperly loaded CAT skid steer” that jackknifed on the interstate, FHP said.

When the driver lost control, he entered the outside shoulder and hit several trees.

His passengers, three men from Miami, ages 29, 40 and 66, were seriously injured in the crash, FHP said.

The driver, a 28-year-old Miami man, suffered minor injuries.
