73-Year-Old Spring Hill Man Killed In Crash On County Line Road
A 73-year-old Spring Hill man died Thursday after suffering a medical episode and crashing into another vehicle on County Line Road.

SPRING HILL, FL -- A 73-year-old Spring Hill man died Thursday after suffering a medical episode and crashing into another vehicle on County Line Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, shortly after 3 p.m. on Jan. 31, John H. Saums was driving a Dodge Ram south on Cobblestone Drive approaching County Line Road when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control.
He entered the path of a Chevy Malibu driven by Christine Eith, 53, of Hudson. The truck was then propelled into a dry retention pond. Eith's car came to rest in the southbound lane of East Road.

Saums was transported to Bayfront Spring Hill where he died. Eith was treated from minor injuries.
