77-Year-Old Woman Accused Of Battering Man With Metal Detector

PORT RICHEY, FL — A 77-year-old Port Richey woman has been accused of battering a 70-year-old man with a metal detector.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Jane Galitello of Carriage Hill Drive was arrested Sunday and charged with domestic battery on a person 65 years or older.

According to the victim, Galitello became angry because he was watching a movie on Cinemax that showed a topless woman. He said Galitello hit him over the head with the metal detector and scratched his forearm with her fingernails.
