ALDI Set to Open in Holiday

Area shoppers looking for a new place to buy groceries are in luck.

ALDI opens the doors on its Holiday store at 9 a.m. Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located at 2643 U.S. Highway 19. The chain operates nearly 1,400 stores in 32 states with several locations in Tampa and Pinellas County, and one in Port Richey.

“We look forward to introducing Holiday shoppers to ALDI, where they can find the majority of their average weekly shopping list from our exclusive brand products – including fresh meats, fruits, vegetables and bakery items,” Dave Rinaldo, Haines City division vice president for ALDI was quoted in a media release as saying. “We are committed to bringing ALDI customers the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices in a simple and easy-to-navigate shopping environment.”

The new location will be open Monday through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
