ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — Fire crews rescued a skydiver who got caught in a tall tree in the Zephyrhills area on July 4, Pasco County Fire Rescue wrote in a social media post.
First responders found the skydiver stuck 30 to 40 feet up in the tree after his jump.
Crews had to carefully cut a few limbs to reach the skydiver, secure him in the fire truck’s bucket and bring him down without injury.
The rescue was “a safe ending to an unexpected July 4 adventure,” fire officials said.
