Missing Scuba Diver’s Body Found Floating Off Treasure Island Beach: Reports
A scuba diver reported missing by her husband was found dead in waters off Treasure Island, reports said.
TREASURE ISLAND, FL — A missing scuba diver’s body was found floating offshore in Treasure Island on Sunday morning, multiple reports said.
LeeAnn Fay Sellers, 41, of Palm Harbor was reported missing by her husband on Friday evening when she didn’t return home from a solo dive at Treasure Island Beach, WFLA said.
City police and fire crews, with help from other law enforcement agencies and first responders, searched the land and water for Sellers, but were unable to find her, reports said.

A fisherman reported seeing a body floating about 200 feet offshore on Sunday morning around 6:45 a.m., Fox 13 reported.
The body, which was still wearing scuba equipment, was later identified as Sellers.

The Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine her cause and manner of death.
