State Representative Mike Fasano Appointed to Housing Development Corporation of Florida

State Representative Mike Fasano was appointed by Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives Will Weatherford to serve as a member of the Housing Development Corporation of Florida’s Board of Directors.  The Housing Development Corporation helps fund affordable housing programs in Florida. 

“I am honored that Speaker Weatherford has asked me to represent the Florida House on this important board,” Representative Fasano states. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members to acquire the funds needed to serve as many people as possible.  The need for affordable housing in Florida is great and good leadership will maximize the impact of limited public dollars.” 

Representative Fasano, a 19-year veteran of the Florida Legislature, served for many years as the chairman of the Senate appropriations committee which oversaw funding of housing initiatives.  His appointment to the board is effective immediately.
