Anclote High Bus Driver Asked Teen to Send Nude Photos, Deputies Say

The New Port Richey man was arrested Thursday. Police say the girl may not be the only victim.

A Pasco County School bus driver remained behind bars Friday, accused of asking one of his students to send him nude photos.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Paul John King, 49, of 7537 Jenner Ave., asked a 16-year-old Anclote High School student to send him nude photos of herself. He also is accused of sending graphic sexual texts to the girl between Oct. 13 and Nov. 5.

The girl brought the incidents to the attention of Anclote’s school resource deputy and an investigation was launched.

“It is not believed the female sent him any photos but deputies are asking if any other students were solicited by King to contact the Sheriff’s Office,” an email from Kevin Doll, sheriff’s office spokesman, stated.

King was charged with one count of using a computer to seduce a minor and one count of transmitting information harmful to a minor. He was being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.
