Arrest Made In Fatal Accident That Killed 17-Year-Old Girl
Florida Highway Patrol troopers have arrested a man accused of being involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred Tuesday, April 24.

TRINITY, FL -- Florida Highway Patrol troopers have arrested a man accused of being involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred Tuesday, April 24.
Troopers say the four-vehicle crash happened at State Road 54 and Duck Slough Boulevard around 2:30 p.m.
It started when an eastbound vehicle ran a red light, hitting a northbound vehicle at SR-54 and Duck Slough Boulevard. Two other vehicles that were stopped in the westbound turn lane were hit after the initial crash. The intersection and the eastbound lanes of SR 54 were shut down while troopers investigated.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, 17-year-old Lillia Grace Morris, died at the scene.
Troopers say Brandon Casey Windom, 27, of Tampa, was driving the car that ran the red light. He left the scene after the accident and was later arrested.
