Astronaut Snaps Awesome Pic of Florida From Space
Reid Wiseman snapped the shot Friday morning while many were still asleep.

Just because they’re in space, doesn’t mean astronauts can’t send out a tweet or two.
Reid Weisman proved that Friday morning by tweeting a picture he’d snapped from the International Space Station that shows what the southern United States, from Florida to Louisiana, looks like from his current position high above the earth. The picture is one of many tweeted out by Wiseman from the station.
Wiseman, a commander in the U.S. Navy, hails from Baltimore. He first reported to Johnson Space Center in 2009 and entered astronaut candidate training in 2011. He’s serving as the flight engineer for Expedition 41 on the International Space Station, according to his NASA biography.
