Attempted Homicide Charge Filed Against Juvenile In Pasco County Stabbing: Sheriff

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A juvenile was arrested and charged with attempted homicide while engaged in burglary in connection with a Saturday morning stabbing in Zephyrhills, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded to reports of a man stabbed in the Pure Water Way area of Zephyrhills just before 10:30 a.m.

Investigators learned that the victim and suspect knew each other, the sheriff’s office said.

The victim was brought to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, who hasn’t been named, left the area before deputies arrived, but was arrested later that day.

In addition to attempted homicide, they were also charged with vehicle theft and burglary with aggravated battery.
