Body Found Off Pasco's Shore Identified
The man went out fishing by himself Tuesday morning.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has identified the person whose body was found in Gulf waters off Hudson on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the sheriff’s office, John Curtis Sr., 64, of Port Richey had borrowed a friend’s boat to go fishing by himself around 10 a.m. He left from Hudson Marina with food and fishing gear in tow, an email from the agency stated.
Curtis’ body was discovered by a boater around 2:14 p.m. Tuesday. The boater notified the U.S. Coast Guard, which in turn called the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office says the boat has been recovered and that foul play does not appear to be a factor in Curtis’ death. The final determination will be made by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Curtis was arrested on Oct. 8 for possession of child pornography, the sheriff’s office noted.
