Just CrossPoint: Margins of Life
This week, Jerry Bailie, a CrossPoint Church leader, imparts a truth that will impact your life!

CrossPoint Church is a wonderful church family for many reasons. The dynamic pastor, the vibrant youth group, the women’s support program and so many other programs are all big draws. More than any program, however, is the high caliber of people who attend the church, many of whom are in leadership. Jerry Bailie is an individual of strong faith, integrity and strength of character. CrossPoint Church is blessed to have someone of his stature as part of its leadership team. He is a personal friend of mine, and someone to whom I look up as I grow in my own faith walk.
This week, Jerry, a church elder, board member and ministry leader, shares a message he has prepared for this week’s blog post. Entitled “Margins of Life,” Jerry is able, in just a few sentences, to impart a truth that will impact your life:
Margins of Life

I remember my third grade teacher saying, “Keep all your words inside the margins. If you go outside the margins you fail on your book report.” It seems from that point on success and failure was determined by the margins of life. My book report was on a big fish that swallowed a man named Jonah and how he spit him out a few days later and this man was important to God. Now I don’t remember all the words I wrote within the margins of the page but I remember my third grade teacher giving me an “A” for my report with a note that said; “As long as you keep God inside the margins of your life you will have much success.”
Thank you, Mrs. Steffen. I have not forgotten your words and, yes, God remains inside the margins of my life.

My advice to anyone else is widen your margins and let God in. You’ll never regret it!
Many Blessings,
Jerry
Thank you, Jerry, for the powerful message contained in your words. I have no doubt many people will be touched by this.
