A 56-year-old woman was charged with careless driving after losing control of her car and plunging into a community pool in New Port Richey.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 56-year-old woman was charged with careless driving after losing control of her car and plunging into a community pool in New Port Richey.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Audrey Bullitt-Reeves was driving on Travco Court approaching Jayco Court Saturday when she lost control. Troopers said she crashed through some bushes and a fence, than landed in a mobile home park's swimming pool at 839 Old County Road 54.

Bullitt-Reeves escaped unharmed through a rear window of her car.
