as cities do receive on average 9 to 12 % higher rate due to this city tax 
 In 2006 at the nuclear plant public hearing at PHCC I stood up and first announced they had printed the wrong times about the meetings, They delayed it for 2 hours to the proper time, I then stood up again and opposed there proposal to nuclear plant rates imposed on the public before the plant was built. I the testified at the public meetings in new port richey ,and did a presentation on wind power along the coastal areas.
  So how do we get you into tier one pricing basically below $125 dollars come jan.
 HEATING in jan and feb 2014  You need to do everything possible to keep your heat strips turned off if you have a heat pump. Your more advanced units and newer thermostats you can go into the operatation manual and set this up. To show a example of how much you save when using a heat pump here is a simple example.
IF you heat a home with a heat pump and have your thermostat set so heat strips don't come on till in the 30,s and it cost you $100 a month your saving a lot. The same amount of heat in btu,s  put into a home with a ac unit that only has heat strips will cost you $300 or more.  If you need to know if you have a heat pump or heat strips give me a ring I can usually have you look at your unit and describe it to you.   So the goal to save power this winter should be to make sure you have a heat pump and if you do make sure things adjusted correctly to keep the heat strips  from coming on unless in the 30,s          SAVE POWER NOW stay tuned.
