Drawing, Painting and Other Explorations
Ages 7-14
We will begin our classes with drawing.

Our objective continues to be to encourage the creative
process unique to each child. At the same time, students will learn new observation/drawing skills,
(appropriate to the individual’s level) which will improve their ability to
communicate through art.

Instructor: Trish McMahan 17th & 18th
The initial
emphasis will be on drawing. We will
later interpret our artwork as painting (watercolor, colored pencils, pastel
crayons) and as a group craft project something yet to be discovered.

Supplies
Minimal to start
3 pencils: Hard (2-4 H), Med (HB) and Soft (2B – 4B)
One good hard eraser (pink pearl is good)
1 set watercolors (tubes)/1 set watercolor brushes
