Deputies say a New Port Richey woman has been charged with battery on a person over 65 years old after arguing about Netflix usage.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- A 33-year-old New Port Richey woman has been charged with battery on a person over 65 years old after she got into an argument over using Netflix, according to Pasco County Sheriff's deputies.
According to deputies, Crystal Ortiz of Knox Loop began arguing with the elderly woman at her home Monday about the woman using Ortiz' tablet to watch shows on Netflix. When the woman wouldn't turn over the tablet, Ortiz reportedly tried to grab it away from her, bruising the woman's wrist and hand in the process. Deputies said Ortiz then grabbed a necklace the victim was wearing and ripped it off her neck.
Ortiz was transported to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center where bond was set at $2,500.
