Deputies Searching for Possible Serial Robber
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office believes the same man might be responsible for a string of armed robberies.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a man it says may be responsible for four armed robberies in the New Port Richey area over the past few days.
The latest robbery occurred around 9:15 p.m. Monday when a man entered Corner Food and Deli, 5488 Flora Ave., flashed a gun and demanded money, an email from the department stated.
When the clerk handed over some cash, the man, whose face was partly covered, left the store.

“This appears to be the same individual responsible for three previous armed robberies in New Port Richey this weekend,” the email stated.

- On Saturday at the 6001 Trouble Creek Road 7-Eleven, just after 1 a.m.
- On Sunday at Sunoco, 5736 U.S. 19, just after 7 p.m.
- On Sunday at Hess, 7319 Plathe Road, just before 9:30 p.m.
During the Sunoco robbery, the man is said to have fired a round at a clerk, but missed.
