Suspect Sought In New Port Richey Attempted Break-In: Pasco Sheriff

Deputies are asking for public assistance in identifying the suspect in an attempted break-in at a New Port Richey home, Pasco sheriff said.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man in connection with an attempted break-in at a home in New Port Richey.

An unknown white man tried to unlawfully enter a home in the 9100 block of Bullrush Court on July 19, just after 3 p.m.

The suspect removed a window screen and damaged a door frame before leaving in an unknown direction, the sheriff’s office said.

There were no other details provided, and the agency didn’t say whether anything was taken or whether anyone was home at the time.

Investigators believe the incident is related to another case involving a similar suspect.

PSO shared images of the suspect in both cases and asked the public to share any tips they might have.
