Detectives Seek Information On Port Richey Bank Robber

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of a Port Richey bank robber.

PORT RICHEY, FL – Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of a Port Richey bank robber.

On March 6 at 12:11 p.m., a man entered the Synovus Bank at 6435 Ridge Road in Port Richey, approached a teller and demanded cash. After receiving the cash, he fled the bank.

He is described as white, 50 to 60 years old, bald with a stocky build, last seen wearing a black shirt, tan jacket and light-colored pants.

The same man may have been involved in an incident at the Circle K store on State Road 54 in New Port Richey at 3:30 a.m Wednesday.

After that incident, the man was seen leaving the store in an early-model white Chrysler Town n' Country van with a missing driver's side front hubcap.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the man. Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
