New research has revealed the true extent of our obsession with driving

The USA is a car loving nation. There’s no getting away from it, we are obsessed with going fast! However new statistics have revealed that we might be going overboard with all this traveling.

Research conducted by T W White & Sons calculates that we spend 4.3 years of our lives inside a car. That’s a ridiculous amount of time.

Are we going too far with all this driving, or is it time well spent? And why are some of us so obsessed with our cars?

“Cars happen to be a fabulous indicator of resource-gathering ability; the type of guy who drives around the city in a Lamborghini or Bentley knows that cars of that caliber are impossible to fake, and as such, are a great way to represent themselves as a superior mate choice to some dude rattling around in a jalopy.”
